This week i worked more on my idea of stones and bricks. I painted some watercolours which show the different colours in the different walls. I attended the clay workshop with Elaine. I never really use clay in my work but it was nice to use it and to construct a 3d piece from a 2d drawing. The class felt rushed so i didnt enjoy it as much as i could have, given more time. I took some rubbings of some walls using pencil. I also drew the shapes and the lines of some stones that i had collected using A1 and A2 paper. Todays crit was helpful and it was nice to see other peoples progress in the brief.
