Change of plan..

After a week of trying to work with the idea of using stones, bricks and rubble I looked back on my sketchbook for inspiration. I rediscovered my liking for the door window crowns from the georgian houses in Limerick. I have decided to work with those instead of the stones because I feel that I can do a lot more research, creativity and learning with the design of the window crowns. I went to the textiles workshop in which i learnt how to felt and do the pearl stitch, I hope to use these skills in my project. Tomorrow I will attend the casting workshop with Mike Fox, I have already prepared work for this class and I hope to see a good translation between my drawings and the 3D pieces. Fingers crossed it'll work.
